15 Jun Unduly Harsh Deportation Following an Inadvertent Mistake
A mother of two New Zealand-born citizen children is due to be deported for a single reason that she has been unlawfully New Zealand. As a veterinary nurse/licensed massage therapist, she would have been a good candidate for residence under SMC. The New Zealand-born children’s best interest in their welfare would have put her case on a strong humanitarian ground had she engaged an immigration lawyer when it was not too late.
