Katherine joined MK Law in January 2016 after graduating from the University of Auckland. As a student and during her tenure as Law Clerk, Katherine gained advocacy experience with a special focus in refugee and immigration matters. She has assisted and advised on visa applications, appeals and requests for a range of clients, often on special or humanitarian grounds. She has also undertaken research on various issues in human rights and refugee law. Causes Katherine cares about include human rights and poverty alleviation.
Katherine was born in South Korea, and raised in New Zealand. She enjoys listening to music and binge-watching entire seasons of shows.
